My view about blog
Dear friends, I am a Chinese boy and a international student in Uclan. I am a fresher in Uclan, but I am the second year in the University.I study media and management in Uclan. It is my first time to set a English post, so this time, I will talk about my view about blog.
WHAT IS BLOG?
Blog is not personal diary, also it is not personal website. But blogs can be an individual media, personal network navigation and personal search engine.
Because a word of Blog cames from "Web logs " , rather than "Web Diary". Both side are completely different.
Diary : refers to the individual daily happen, experience and observation of things written records. Personal privacy, mainly write for himself.
Log : sailing ship to ship speed and records, and all the process of sailing boat events recorded the meaningful. The individual, publicity. Mainly write for others.
Therefore, the blog is a combination of human and publicity, its essence is not mainly express individual thought, not personal daily experience mainly records, but with personal perspective, to the Internet for selection and record their horizons, see the Internet content, supply help for othters,it has a higher share value.
What are functions of Blog?
In my opinion, I hold that blog has three main functions
1.personal freedom of expression and publishing;
2.knowledge accumulation and filtration;
3.the manner of depth of communication network.
